frozen pizza

Did you know that October was pizza month in the US? Well, now you do. It turns out that the magazine, Pizza Today, was first published in October which is why its publisher, Gerry Durnell, chose this month to celebrate and it’s been that way since 1984.

So in honour of that, and because as South African meat wholesalers we love all things foodie, we’re going to share 10 of their favourite pizza facts:

At N1 we offer a wide variety of frozen foods, from frozen pizza, dairy products, herbs, French fries and burgers to fruit and wholesale frozen vegetables – which we like to call ‘better than fresh’. Studies have shown that in most cases flash-frozen vegetables are equal in nutrition to fresh vegetables and in some cases actually superior to their fresh counterparts which have endured considerably more handling, longer storage, chemicals to delay spoiling and greater exposure to the elements on the retail floor.
