There’s a day celebrating most things we enjoy eating or drinking, so imagine our delight to discover that there’s a World Whisky Day as well. Founded in 2012 by Blair Bowman, a whisky consultant and author of the Pocket Guide to Whisky, World Whisky Day is celebrated on the third Saturday in May each year – and this year’s celebration falls on Saturday 19th May.
