To ensure they maintain high-standards and timeous deliveries, N1 constantly invest in their drivers, their vehicles and their delivery routes.

N1 Drivers
As always, N1 believe in putting people first, which is why their drivers are properly trained to make sure they are able to handle all aspects of a delivery. As an extension of the N1 brand, and very often as the only face-to-face contact with customers; they are always neat, appropriately attired and knowledgeable about the company. They maintain high visibility in well branded vehicles, which also encourages safe-driving as all vehicles advertise N1 contact details. Live tracking allows N1 to know exactly where a driver is at any given time, which is hugely beneficial in terms of safety, control and efficiency.

N1 Vehicles
With the recent addition of the Johannesburg branch, the total fleet now numbers 13 trucks and 16 bakkies – all varying in size to cater for larger and smaller loads, thereby providing N1 customers with the most cost-effective options. The fleet is well maintained, regularly serviced, and added to when necessary; to guarantee that N1 not only reduce their carbon footprint, but that they meet their delivery deadlines in a safe and timeous manner. As with all steps in the production process, vehicles are held to the strictest hygiene standards, and as such are washed and sanitised daily. All N1 vehicles are refrigerated so that the cold chain is maintained, from loading to delivery. And along with their separate Halaal production factory established in 2001, N1 also provide separate vehicles dedicated to Halaal deliveries only.

N1 Delivery Routes
Immensely proud of their delivery track record, N1 routes are meticulously planned to maximise efficiency and reduce costs wherever possible. In Cape Town, N1 achieve a same-day delivery service, six days a week, averaging 130 deliveries each day. In Johannesburg Central, East Rand, West Rand and Pretoria; N1 provide a same-day delivery service, while the further outlying areas in Gauteng benefit from a next-day delivery service. The Johannesburg branch delivers five days a week, averaging 150 deliveries each day. Constantly expanding their delivery routes to satisfy customer demand, N1 now deliver to Pofadder and Grobelaarshoop under the Cape Town branch; and Barberton and Potchefstroom under the Johannesburg branch – plans are also underway to add a delivery route to Bloemfontein.
